In 2002, Thomega Entertainment Inc. founded and created a pilot TV show about musicians who traveled to perform in Canada and in particular were drawn to the “Paris of the Prairies“ the dynamic music scene in Saskatchewan.
Ewest Music ultimately became a three season (totaling 49 x 22 min part) series – it was life changing for all those involved. Young hosts with pure passion, discovered in talent contests became overnight Video DJs – meeting and interviewing some of the most influential iconic musicians in Canada and from all around the world and in that discovering their own greatest potential. The series from the west has thrived (it air nationally on Bell media and SCN now City TV ) and also positively impacted the lives of those who held a Ewest microphone, with well researched and intrepid questions, the existing three seasons (Ewest Music Vault) is now available on Thomega TV Roku channel world wide, available in over 160 million homes.
Past episodes Include interviews and performances with Jim Cuddy (Blue Rodeo) Tom Cochrane, The Proclaimers, 50 Cent, Serena Ryder, Joe Bonamassa, Billy Idol, Deana Carter, Sum 41, Our Lady Peace, Nickleback, and many more.
